Austria premiere for our premium product. The Cobiax CLS saves resources and provides wider scopes for the Molln-located construction company Bernegger.
The new headquarters building is right in the middle of the shell construction phase, so we were recently able to visit the construction site to see our Cobiax CLS structural formers in action. Without exception, all participants expressed positive.
In the three-storey building, which has a floor area of around 2,000 m2, Cobiax CLS structural formers were used in the first two storeys on half of the area. The upper floor is a 100% Cobiax voided flat slab. The slabs are designed as ceilings with exposed concrete. Therefore, a possibility had to be found to avoid disturbing beam structures without increasing the slab thickness beyond measure. Among many other advantages is the core competence of Cobiax: omit where it is not needed.
In addition, Cobiax CLS structural formers are very easy to lay because the large-sized void formers are simply placed next to each other. Specifically, the workers expressed that the not yet casted Cobiax slab is extremely stable and therefore safe when walking over it. Cobiax CLS is thus fully suitable for construction sites. A jewel for practitioners.
